Tour Plan
Day 1: Marrakech → Atlas Mountains → Ait Ben Haddou → Dades Gorges
Our 3-day adventure kicks off at 8:00 AM. We’ll pick you up from your hotel and head towards the Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll pass through charming Berber villages, including Ait Ourir. The drive is scenic, offering amazing views as we ascend to the Tichka Pass. We’ll stop to enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains and valleys.
Next, we’ll explore the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has appeared in many famous films. Afterward, we’ll continue on to Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Africa, before heading toward the stunning Dades Gorges, where we’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel.
Day 2: Dades Gorges → Todra Gorges → Rissani → Merzouga
On Day 2, we’ll explore the Dades Valley and head towards the Todra Gorges, famous for its towering cliffs and stunning landscapes. We’ll stop for lunch amidst the dramatic scenery of the gorges before continuing our journey to Erfoud and Rissani.
Finally, we’ll arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll meet your camel caravan and guide. Prepare to experience the Sahara Desert like never before with a camel ride across the vast sand dunes. As the sun sets over the desert, we’ll head to our desert camp for a night under the stars. After enjoying a traditional Berber music performance around the campfire, you’ll spend the night in a cozy nomadic-style tent.
Day 3: Merzouga → Draa Valley → Marrakech
After a memorable night in the desert, we’ll rise early to catch a stunning sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we’ll return to the village of Merzouga and board our vehicle for the journey back to Marrakech.
We’ll pass through Rissani, Alnif, and Ouarzazate, where we’ll break for lunch. From there, we’ll drive through the Atlas Mountains, making scenic stops along the way before arriving back in Marrakech by the evening to conclude our adventure.
