Tour Plan
Day 1: Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Gorges
We start at 8:00 AM, leaving Marrakech for the scenic drive to Dades Gorges. Along the way, we’ll pass through charming Berber villages, the towns of Ait Ourir and Touama, and ascend the High Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is at Ait Berka for a panoramic view, followed by a drive along the winding Tichka road to the summit of Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2260 meters), where we’ll take some stunning photos.
Next, we’ll head to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a famous movie set. After exploring the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing through oases and palm groves to reach the dramatic Dades Gorges. We’ll check into our hotel for a well-deserved rest before our next adventure.
Day 2: Dades Gorges → Todra Gorges → Merzouga Desert
On Day 2, we journey through the Berber villages of southeastern Morocco, heading towards the stunning dunes of Merzouga. Our first stop is Boumalne Dades, where we can take in views of the beautiful Dades Valley. Then, we’ll continue to the famous Todra Gorges, a paradise for climbers and a great spot for a scenic walk.
After lunch, we continue our journey towards the Sahara Desert. Once we arrive in Merzouga, we’ll meet our camel caravan and guide, who will lead us through the dunes on a thrilling camel ride. As the sun sets over the vast desert, we’ll reach our nomadic desert camp, where we’ll spend the night under the stars, enjoying a traditional Gnawa dance performance and live music.
Day 3: Merzouga → Midelt → Middle Atlas → Fes
After breakfast in the desert, we’ll hop back on our camels for a ride back to the meeting point. Then, we’ll drive towards Midelt and continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, where the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. We’ll pass through small villages, cedar forests, and mountain landscapes that will leave you in awe.
By the late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Fes, where our 3-day desert adventure concludes around 8:00 PM.
