Tour Plan
Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate
Begin your desert journey with a hotel pickup at 8:00 AM. Drive through the scenic High Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ait Berka and Telouat to visit the historic Telouat Kasbah. Continue to the UNESCO-listed village of Ait Ben Haddou to explore its famous kasbah. End the day in Ouarzazate with a visit to the African Hollywood film studios and an overnight stay in a local hotel.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Tafraoute Sidi Ali
Travel through the lush Draa Valley, stopping for lunch in the quaint villages of Agdz and Nkob. Venture along the Paris Dakar rally track, surrounded by acacia trees, until you reach Tafraoute Sidi Ali. Spend the night in a cozy desert hotel.
Day 3: Tafraoute Sidi Ali – Ramlia – Merzouga (Off-Road)
Embark on an off-road adventure through remote desert terrain and Berber villages. Stop for lunch in the town of Ramlia, then continue to Merzouga. Ride camels across the Erg Chebbi dunes to a desert camp. Enjoy music, campfire stories, and a night under the stars.
Day 4: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
Depart from the desert and travel through the Tafilalt oasis, stopping in Rissani and Erfoud. Visit the Jewish quarter of Tinghir and the dramatic Todra Gorges. Spend the night in the scenic Dades Valley at a traditional riad.
Day 5: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
On the final day, pass through the Rose Valley and return to Ouarzazate to see the impressive Taourirt Kasbah. Cross the High Atlas Mountains and return to Marrakech, where your 5-day off-road desert adventure concludes.
